Today.
Here’s the day in bullet points.
- 5am: wake-up because I can’t sleep- finish packing, shower, etc.
- 5:50am: leave to go pick up alex.
- 6:05am: pick up walter en route to UIUC (3 hour drive).
- 8:10am: arrive at 40 minute long detour en route to iVentures10
- 8:50am: suspect tire might be flat
- 9:15am: stop to get gas
- 9:17am: confirm tire is flat, put in air.
- 9:55am: arrive at illinoisVENTURES
- 10:00am: introductory class - administrivia, introductions, and legal
- noon: depart illinoisVENTURES
- 12:15pm: stop at goodyear — can’t fix tire till 2:30pm
- 12:30pm: get lunch at small cafe
- 1:15pm: check out first apartment on list, find out it’s actually a dorm
- 1:30pm: mistake “awesome deal” for “really lame deal”
- 1:35pm: almost sign lease, realize it’s the cost per person, not for all four of us
- 1:55pm: arrive in property management leasing office
- 4:00pm: proud tenants of a subleased apartment for the summer!
- 4:30pm: back at goodyear, too late
- 5:00pm: arrive at tires plus
- 5:30pm: celebratory milkshake for signing lease
- 6:15pm: tire fixed
- 6:30pm: buying white boards ($12 tile board at Lowes) and misc. at Target
- 7:30pm: back to the apartment, brainstomring, setting up, and frozen pizza
I don’t normally blog entire days, but this one was pretty great!
